In this 5 day practical tiling course you will work in your own realistic purpose designed training bay incorporating a toilet, sink, bath, window and large walled areas.
On the course you will be given an introduction to materials, tools and equipment. You will then carry out some exercises to get used to cutting tiles using various equipment you were introduced to.
You will then be taught how to mark your tiling job using the various rules and starting points for tiling.
First you will carry out some basic tiling and as you progress you will be taught precision tiling to include cutting shapes, making your own borders, arranging tiles for different effects and tips on achieving that professional finish.
You will be shown the correct use of silicon and sealants and most importantly pricing the job. On completion of the course you will be issued with a Trade Skills Workshop Certificate of Competence.
